Health Resources
Our campus is managed by a skilled and knowledgeable staff with years of experience, degrees in higher education and a passion for the outdoors. All staff are trained to help maintain established health and safety standards. Individuals hold certificates in First Aid (many also have Wilderness First Aid training) and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Appropriate Challenge Course Safety and Lifeguarding training certificates are held as activities require. All staff carry two-way radios so they can be in constant contact when on trail. Emergency response is a radio call and a fifteen minute paramedic drive away. An AED and an emergency epi-pen are located on each campus.
Parents/guardians must note all medical concerns on the Health Form and dietary information on the Dietary Restrictions and Concerns Form during online registration in Ultra Camp, as well as any appropriate additional forms linked below.
Our campus has a Health Technician and other trained staff available to dispense medication. For more information, questions or concerns about health or medication while at Walden West, contact our Health Technician - ww_healthaide@sccoe.org or call 408.573.3063. Our fax number is 408.573.3066.

Please contact your school on how to proceed.
* Parents, aides, nurses, and adults not employed by their district or SCCOE are REQUIRED to follow the Adult Volunteer procedures to be allowed on-site with students.
